Description

Anton John Houska- born 08 June 1866 in Bohemia death- 04 July 1925 in Minnesota.He came to the U.S.A. in 1895. His father was John Houska and his mother was Sophin. Anton change the spelling to Hoska in the 1900’s

My great-grandmother was Elzbeta Houska, born Jun 26, 1873. Her father or grandfather was Antonin Houska. Elzbeta came to the US in 1898 as the wife of Vaclav Uhlir. They landed at Ellis Island and settled in La Crosse, Wisconsin. That’s as much as I know, but maybe it will help someone.
