Surnames submitted by Members – This searchable database is an index of surnames submitted by CGSI members from 1988 to the present time. This is a tool which will help the family researcher locate and connect with potential relatives and ancestors.
Czech Passenger Lists – This searchable database is an index of the “Czech Immigration Passenger Lists” provided to assist the researcher in rapidly locating relatives and ancestors based upon their arrival at various U.S. ports. Records are extracted from the nine volume set of “Czech Immigration Passenger Lists” by Leo Baca. This database of approximately 205,000 names, contains records from the following list of ports:
— Baltimore (1834-99)
— Galveston (1848-61, 1865-71, 1880-86, 1896-1914)
— New Orleans (1848-99)
— New York (1847-96)
— Baltimore (1900-03) unpublished volume (a work in progress)
Church Records – This searchable database is an index of St. Paul Archdiocese of Minnesota church records of baptisms, marriages and deaths provided to assist the researcher in rapidly locating relatives and ancestors. Records are only from those churches known to have had a large numbers of Czech and Slovak (often Polish) parishioners. Baptismal and marriage records start with the earliest records available for the church up to and including 1934. A few death records go beyond 1934. The following churches are included:
