Schmidt

My grandfather Wilhelm Joseph was born August 1880 in (I believe) Gablone, Bohemia, Austria (now the Czech Republic. His parents were Wilhelm Schmidt and Marie Fiedler. He always told his grandchildren that he was the 5th Wilhelm in a row. I had a genealogist do some research and he came up that his grandfather was Josef Schmid, which would make him the second in a row (or junior). He arrived in the Port of New York, on 13 Sept 1906, on the “Deutschland” out of Hamburg. I believe he was cabin boy on board and possibly living in Leipzig at that time. I would like any information on him, his siblings, his father and mother. Ray Sarosy
