Please put “Nicky’s Family” in the subject line.

“I hope you will find in this film something that may inspire you.”
~ Nicholas Winton

About the film:
One man, Nicholas Winton, changed the world and continues to inspire new
generations even 70 years later through his incredible act of courage in
saving hundreds of lives. The film Nicky’s Family tells the story of one
of the greatest rescue operations of all time and its lasting impact on
the world today.

In 2002, Slovak director Matej Minac directed the Emmy award-winning,
documentary Nicholas Winton: The Power of Good. The film reveals the
powerful story of Nicholas Winton, who in 1939, single-handedly and
without any official support organized the transports of 669 endangered
children from Nazi occupied Prague to safety in Great Britain.

The Winton series continues with Nicky’s Family, which tells the dramatic
story of the rescue operation of these children from the point of view of
Nicholas Winton. The film incorporates narration by Winton himself and 26
of the rescued children as well as re-enactments to illustrate this unique
operation that saved the lives of so many.
