Looking for any information on the villages in the Plsen area of Jarov, Vyrov, Kralovice, Prevetice, Hradchu. Wondering if there are records that tell of the land sales offers in Iowa that were made to families of these villages in 1850-1860s. Many of these families settled in Solon, Lone Tree, and Riverside, Iowa.

Specific families I am connected to Bulin (Buline), Hudachek, Zenishek, Henik. Family relatives married Parizek, Skubal, Hruby, Simitz (Schimitz), Ulch, Kolda, Kahl, Sabatka, Hotka, Novy, Yavorsky, Holubar.

Mark: I know of some Bulin’s that went to Wisconsin and then to Nebraska. They married into some of my family names., also you mentioned Simitz (Schimitz). My grandmother Rose (Ruzena) Simice was born in Sedlec, near Kralovice as was her mother Rosalie Bures(ova). Her father, Frank Simice was born in Chotina and his ancestors were born in Kacerov and Plana, NE of Plzen. I have some documents on your spelling of that name, as it must be German spelling. The name was spelled several different ways in America, such as Shimic/Schimice-Simic-and others.
