PUNDZAK,PUNZAK,PUNCAK,KUNDRAT

Hi! This is my first post! I am researching my family tree and my great-grandparents were from Slovakia or Austria-Hungary. I’m not sure what the name was then.

Stefan Pundzak (or one of the above similar spellings) was born in Duplin in January 1869 or 70. He came to the US in 1890, according to the 1900 census.

His wife, Anna Kundrat was born in October 1870 in Rakocz. I don’t know when she came to the US but she was single. They weren’t married until 1894. Unfortunately, their church burned in the early 1900’s and all previous records were lost.
