Help in research. My great grandfather Josef Kolar, b.Bohemia about 1815. After arriving ? migrated, with wife Anna, to Canada than to Michigan(Detroit). Had a son Joseph b.1852 in Canada who married Francisca English b.1855. Joseph and Francisca also moved to Detroit Mich. Josef d 13 Mar 1896. Anna d. 3 Jan 1893. Joseph d.1916. Francisca d.1901.

My guess is that he went to Canada because he know someone ??
a relative or maybe from the same village he was from, I would try that track of research……. good luck !
