Safranek, Adelbert or Vojtech from Bohemia

Looking for my great-grandfather Vojtech (aka Adelbert or Woy) Safranek. He came to the US sometime in the late 1800s and ended up in Cleveland Ohio on Barkwill Ave. I believe I have found his marriage information – He married my great-grandmother Mary Skala in Oct 1884 in Cleveland Ohio. They had 4 children: John Rudolph (my grandfather) in 1886 born on Barkwill Street; James in 1888; Anna in 1891 and Louis S in 1893. Im having no luck finding anything more on my great-grandparents… Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated

Hello Sandra. I read your post, and unfortunately do not know anything on the Safraneks, Adelberts, or Vojtechs. But, there is a Skala in my family. You mentioned that your great-grandmother was Mary Skala; my great-great-grandmother was Rose (aka Rozarine or Rosalie) Skala. She married my great-great-grandfather Frank (or Franz) Beranek in Bohemia in the 1870’s. Do you know any further information on the Skalas? Any information is very much appreciated!
