Herzan-Kriklava Bohemia (Minnesota) Research

I am looking for any info on my gr grandparents Charles and Anna (Kriklava) Herzan. I have recently been offered the opportunity to travel to Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic this April. I have stepped up my search in hopes of being able to at least narrow down where in Bohemia they may have originated. I have a public tree on Ancestry.com (Herzan-Kriklava Family Tree).

Most of the info below I got from the O’Harrah Family Tree. I cannot find anything defining what exactly the Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy is?? Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you – Cindy

Antonia “Nettie” (maiden Barto) Kriklava b: 1859 Bohemia, Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy d: 1905 (?) Hassan Valley, Minnesota (?)

They married abt 1869-1870 and had 3 children (listed below) and they came to the US in 1885 :

Francis “Fannie” Kriklava b: 1865 Bohemia, Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy d: bef 1895 Glencoe, McLeod County, Minnesota Married George Weaver abt 1890 Glencoe, Minnesota

Anna Kriklava b: 06/20/1870 Bohemia, Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy d: 12/19/1951 Minnesota Married Charles Herzan 10/29/1889-1890

Rosetta “Rose” Kriklava b: 09/17/1887 Minnesota d: 07/07/1977 Glencoe, Minnesota Married John Will Tepley 06/26/1905
